ELECTRO MODULE®
Purpose
Container-type module (CPM) ELECTRO MODULE® is a reliable, high-tech product, which due to tested engineering solutions, the use of premium materials and compliance with modern national and international quality, safety and environmental standards during manufacturing and at all stages of implementation, provides the customer with confidence in safe operation, high energy efficiency indicators and minimum maintenance costs during the entire module life cycle.
Container-type module is designed for installation of electrical equipment 6 (10) -35 / 0,4 / 0,23 kV, including
- switchgear RU - 6 (10) -35 kV cells;
- switchgear RU - 0,4 (0,23) kV cells;
- power transformers;
- power converters;
- capacitor units;
- frequency converters;
- auxiliary and operating current cabinet;
- other electrical equipment.
The scope of supply and composition of the equipment is determined by the Customer and/or the technical solutions of the project documentation.
Container-type module performs the function of reception, conversion, accumulation and distribution of electricity.
Voltage of equipment to be installed in the module is up to 35 kV (nominal), 40.5 kV (maximum operating).
The capacity of power conversion equipment (power and/or traction transformers) is up to 3150 kVA.
Functionally, the container-type modules form the Customer's power facilities, such as:
- switchgear,
- electrical machine rooms
- battery banks,
- converter units,
- substation control stations,
- switchgear cabinets,
- special installations,
- individual installations and customer products.
Advantages
HIGH RELIABILITY AND GUARANTEE OF LONG LIFE
The use of modern high-quality certified components and materials ensures high anti-corrosive properties of the module and provides a manufacturer's warranty on the structure and coating (painting) for up to 10 years (subject to the manufacturer's requirements for the maintenance of structural elements).
High quality cold-rolled steel with thickness of 2 mm and corrosion-resistant zinc coating with density of
140...280 g/m2.
All metalware used in connections that come into contact with the atmosphere is made of stainless steel.
DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS
A wide range of standard sizes and variants of modules installation makes it possible to design substations of different layouts and configurations according to customers' needs and objectives as well as to minimize space allocated for construction.
HIGH FACTORY READINESS
The ELECTRO MODULE® container type modules are supplied fully prefabricated and ready to go to the construction site, which considerably reduces the time and amount of work necessary to put the substation into operation.
CONTROL ASSEMBLY
The controlled assembly of the ELECTRO MODULE® and the supporting structure within one factory makes the risks of any surprises at the customer's site minimal and a key advantage during commissioning of the plant.

The structural elements of the modules are manufactured on automated production lines using machine tools, resulting in high precision, the smallest possible tolerances, high repeatability of design elements and uncompromising quality of every part.
The modular containers are capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 125 km/h.
The degree of protection of the ELECTRO MODULE® container type is IP44...IP65 according to DSTU IEC 60529: 2019 (p.5, par. 5.1., 5.2.; р. 6.Table 3).
The advantages of powder coating lie primarily in the processability and environmental compatibility of the coating. Powder coating is performed using an electrostatic (or tribostatic) application method on a special painting area, where the finished coating is cured in an oven after the painting process.

Engineering systems
Lighting system
working interior lighting
Permanent lighting of ELECTRO MODULE® container type is envisaged by using LED lighting fixtures in accordance with DBN B.2.5-28: 2018.
Emergency interior lighting
The emergency lighting system is implemented using LED lighting fixtures from leading manufacturers with built-in rechargeable batteries, thus avoiding expensive DC power supply, which requires periodic maintenance and costs.
Service lighting above doorways and gates
Exterior lighting is based on vandal resistant ELECTRO MODULE® LED luminaires, developed and manufactured in-house. The luminaires can be switched on both manually and automatically (by movement sensor and/or astronomical relay).
Maintenance lighting
The maintenance lighting network is based on the ELECTRO MODULE® PDU (step-down transformer box) of our own production.
Power distribution network
The outgoing network shall be made using equipment of the world's leading manufacturers of protected version in protection class IP54/65 depending on the application requirements. All wiring used by the module manufacturer is presumed to be flame retardant.

Burglar alarm system
The intrusion alarm system comprises:
- alarm control panel,
- spatial motion detectors,
- magneto-contact sensors,
- certified cable-wire products,
- light and sound detector.
The composition of the system can be adapted to the specifics of the project. An option of signal transmission to monitoring station and/or customer's control centre can be provided.

The fire alarm system comprises the following basic components
- fire alarm control panel,
- detectors which combine smoke and heat sensors,
- manually actuated detectors,
- certified cable and wire products,
- light and sound sirens.
The composition of the system can be adapted to the requirements of the project. Optionally, the system can also be used to provide a signal transmission to the customer's workstation and/or control centre.
Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers shall be installed in containerized ELECTRO MODULE® in accordance with para 2.12 of Order No. 863 of 22.12.2011 of Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine. Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
System of working and protective earthing
System of working and protective earthing is implemented in accordance with DSTU B B.2.5-82: 2016 and the Rules for Electrical Installations. The casing of the container-type ELECTRO MODULE® module is equipped with galvanized 70x70 mm grounding pads on the outside to organize connection to an external grounding loop.
All metal parts of the ELECTRO MODULE®, which are not supplied with voltage during normal operation, but during emergency or post-emergency operation can be put under dangerous potential difference in case of insulation damage (or any other violation of standard operation), are earthed according to requirements of B.2.5-82: 2016 DSTU.
Air conditioning system
The container type ELECTRO MODULE® is equipped with a redundant (for responsible users) industrial air conditioning system.
Switching the air conditioners on/off is automatically controlled by a temperature sensor, which is supplied with each unit.
The power supply to the air conditioning system is automatically switched off when a "Fire" command is given at the input of the fire alarm control panel by an independent tripping device in the power supply circuit of the air conditioning units.
Natural/forced forced intake/exhaust ventilation system
The system shall be in accordance with RDBR V.2.5-67: 2013 and Electrical Installation Regulations.
The power supply to the ventilation system is automatically cut off when there is a 'Fire' command at the input of the fire alarm control panel by means of an independent release in the power supply circuit of the ventilation devices.
The external grilles of the ventilation system are fitted with protective panels to provide a degree of protection to the container type unit.

The ELECTRO MODULE® container type can be installed on different types of foundations:
- strip foundation,
- concrete piers,
- monolithic slab.
When installed on high foundations, the ELECTRO MODULE® is equipped with ladders with handrails and service platforms for convenient and safe operation.
Optionally, the ELECTRO MODULE® container type is supplied with a support structure for mounting on the prepared platform (0.00 h.p.).
The support structure forms an enclosed space with the functional purpose of a cable half-floor. The cable half-floor is provided with holes for inserting cable insertion sleeves with an option of further sealing with easily knocked down non-combustible material, fire-resistant foam or special cable grommets.
In the middle, the supplied support structure has already installed cable carrier systems prepared for the installation of cables.
The cable floors are clad with 2 mm thick cold-rolled steel with a minimum thickness of 140 g/m2 zinc coating. Cladding panels are powder coated with a layer thickness of 80 µm (minimum). The paint finish is RAL7024 (or equivalent).
Standards
Integrated Quality Management System DSTU ISO 9001:2015 of enterprise producing a complete production cycle of electrical equipment of voltage class up to 35 kV inclusive allows you to control the quality of design, development, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance for manufactured electricity distribution equipment, automation and telemechanics of power supply system of the customer.
